YOGA AND FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - FEMALE

Velaa Private Island Maldives is looking for an experience Yoga and Fitness Instructor (Female) to join the team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness.
  • Provide professional and engaging fitness instruction, Personal Training, Group Classes and Yoga sessions for a high-profile clientele of all ages and fitness levels.
  • Support clients in reaching individual goals and ensure their safety during training sessions.
  • Conduct initial assessment of clients’, monitor their progress and consult guests on ideal nutritional choices.
  • Upsell and promote Spa products and treatments to guests.
  • Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.
  • Be fully aware of the Velaa Spa facilities, timings, promotions and prices.
  • Assist Spa with reservation and billing processes, covering reception when needed.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor/Group class trainer in a high end 5-star luxury Resort or Health Club.
  • BSc in health & wellness/ exercise science or other related formal training will be an advantage.
  • Qualified in reformer Pilates.
  • Ability to conduct and customize sessions for high profile clientele.
  • Able to make progressive and corrective measure reports of clients during the sessions.
  • Excellent knowledge of nutrition, health trends and group classes including yoga. Familiar with high-end spa services.
  • Result oriented and a motivated team player.
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages including Russian will be an advantage.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and experience in customer service.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs.
