· Greet the guests and present them with the menu
· Communicate with the guest. Assist them with their queries
· Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
· Take the food and beverage orders from the guest, whilst taking all selling opportunities
· Key the orders in micros
· Communicate guest requests to the kitchen
· Serve food and beverages to the guests
· Work as part of a team to give guests a ‘go beyond’ experience
· Check back the guests, making sure they are satisfied
· Handle guest complaints that may arise
· Respond positively to guest requests, with a ‘can do’ attitude
· Ensure par levels of side station equipment is maintained at all times
· Follow the standards as outlined in the mystery shopper checklist & Play by the Rules Manuals
· Cash handling - open & close checks (billing and cashiering)
· Maintain a good communication & relationship between restaurant and kitchen
· Keep all restaurants furnishing clean and polished in accordance with the cleaning schedule
· Perform basic cleaning duties
