Senior Villa Attendant

Job Summary:

The Senior villa attendant is required to conduct his duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, ensuring that Guest Villas, Public Areas, Housekeeping Department and its surroundings, Housekeeping Pantries and other premises (as per the assignment) are cleaned, well maintained in accordance with JA Manafaru’s and departmental Policies and Procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained at all times.

This is not an exhaustive list that need to be done. JA employees always look for new ways to meet the needs and wishes of our guests and provide them with an excellent stay. We always support our colleagues across all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards.
  • Complete required paperwork including completing the check list file and submit to the housekeeping administrator.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety issue to the superiors.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in guest villas and public areas according to company standards, Leading Quality Assurance (LQA), International Standards Organization (ISO) and the Maldives Ministry of Tourism.
  • Is an individual with eye for details that does not need frequent supervision at senior level. Verify villa/public area status, determine discrepant villas, prioritize villa cleaning and/or public areas. Responsible of the inspection of the villas allocated.
  • Promote a positive image of the property to guests and is pleasant, honest, friendly and is able to address guest requests and problems. Ensure that any guest request received is executed immediately (as per target time) in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible of the level of cleanliness & maintenance in all the villas (occupied and vacant) and its surroundings, housekeeping pantries, housekeeping storage areas, public areas its surroundings (Public & Service Washrooms, CoolZone, ChillZone, Seaplane Huts, Guest Experience Pavilion, Horizon Fitness Pavilion, Innovation Room, Executive Office as per the schedule.
  • Responsible of the smooth delivery of clean linen (in pantries or in guest villas), return soil linens to laundry, mini bar replenishment, guest requests, deliver or take other items from guest villas or pantries as instructed by the superior on duty.
  • Report and notify any issue and/or maintenance or necessary improvement to the housekeeping administrator or to the superior on duty.
  • Act to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Laundry, Engineering and Front Office.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
  • Operate the water refilling station following all policies and procedures instructed by the superior
