1.Main Duties

Your main duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed to carry out the objective of this position.   1. Present a clean and smart appearance at all times wearing the uniform provided and maintain a high level of personal grooming and hygiene paying special attention to hands and feet.
  2. Handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; meticulously respect guest need for privacy, take ownership of guest concerns and requests and act decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when problems occur.
  3. Ensure that all guests are welcomed into the Spa with a cool towel and beverage.
  4. Consult guests regarding their comfort and needs before, during and after the treatment.
  5. Provide professional Spa therapy services as indicated in the Spa menu using the sequences as outlined in the Spa Treatment Manual.
  6. Perform pre and post wellness treatment rituals.
  7. Serve beverages and refreshment to guests, as and when required.
  8. Ensure that treatments are carried out in an ethical manner whilst respecting guest privacy.
  9. Prepare all Spa products in the Spa kitchen area adhering to strict hygiene procedures.
  10. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  11. Prepare treatment set-ups in accordance with Spa standards.
  12. Clean, tidy and reset the treatment room after each guest.
  13. Ensure that soiled and fresh laundry is sorted and dealt with in the correct manner.
  14. Take an active role in reducing all forms of wastage.
  15. Has a thorough understanding of all services including benefits, indications and contraindications for each of the treatments
  16. Maintains guest history records
  17. Take an active role in self-education and maintain optimum product and treatment knowledge.
  18. Attend all Spa and resort training sessions as required and actively apply the knowledge and skills gained.
  19. Actively sell and promote treatments and products using up-selling techniques when appropriate.
  20. Assist in the maintenance of the general Spa environment including lighting, ventilation, music and aroma.
  21. Attend Spa briefings
  22. Help to maintain the quality of the retail displays and advise the Spa Manager of stock levels or other requirements.
  23. Keep your supervisor and manager informed of your physical state as it relates to your job so that they may assist you to control your workload accordingly.
  24. Deal with any guest complaints and refer them to the Spa Manager when necessary.
  25. Perform other duties as directed by the Spa Manager.
