Enginering Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Attend the daily briefing with the engineering team, receiving daily jobs list and preparing for the shift accordingly.

·Applies water hygiene procedures in all HVAC equipment's.

·Interacts - cooperates with others in the Engineering Department

·Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services.

·Repairs maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems of the hotel – walk in freezer, chillers, ridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.

·Maintain preventive and corrective action in all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the hotel.

·Check on performance of refrigeration systems and components.

·Carried out brazing and welding works if required.

·Verify all door closing systems on walk in coolers / freezer (door gaskets / latches)

·Overhauling of air-condition / refrigeration equipment and systems.

·Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition

·Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.

·Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to the hotel standards. Report any guest complaints, when on the job, directly to the Chief Engineer.

·Perform any other minor repairs and maintenance jobs at the request of the Chief Engineer

·Keep up to date on all areas related to the trade.
