Chef de Rang / Assistant Restaurant Manager
Your day
The selected candidate will be in charge of their own station (half board and A la Carte) including food and wine advice on two to three days. Occasionally they will also work in the A la Carte at lunch and look after the guests in the lounge and at the bar. Two to three days a week, they will stand in for the restaurant manager in his absence. Tasks and responsibilities include checking the table plan and daily shifts, refilling the wine fridges and managing the team during dinner.

Your talents and experience
We require someone who will be jointly responsible for meeting high standards and who wishes to gain initial experience in a management position without necessarily shouldering the primary responsibility. They must enjoy and be very interested in (selling) wine and bar drinks. Previous experience of or interest in learning about wine and bartending is an advantage. Friendliness, the ability to work under pressure and a high level of attention to quality are also among the required strengths, as are knowledge of German and English (French is an advantage).
