Job Summary:

The Spa & Wellness Therapist is responsible for ensuring excellent guest satisfaction with the Spa experience, cleanliness and hygiene of spa equipment and tools including all the facilities. Must be able to perform wellness activities with guidance from the Spa & Wellness Manager or Spa & Wellness Supervisor.

The Spa & Wellness Therapist will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with JA Manafaru’s policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Spa & Wellness Therapist will ensure that the guest Spa journey is followed as per the outlined standard.

The Spa & Wellness Therapist will require a high level of social skills and the ability to take responsibility for the guest service in the spa.

High standard of presentation is essential with reliability and punctuality.

Perform the Spa treatments and wellness programs that exceed guests’ expectations.

Assist and give undivided attention to each guests all the time.

Adherence to Spa standards measured thru periodic audits.

A role model for consistency in exhibiting brand ambassador qualities and practices that includes physical presentation and actions as supported by Spa ethics.

Cleans and maintains the hygiene of treatment rooms.

Follows correct levels of professional stock and supplies are recorded for inventory purposes.

Reference and abide by the Spa’s Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Training Manuals, and Forms. Adherence to Spa practices such as operations briefings, inventory, and cost management initiatives.

Follows timekeeping /duty roster & decking standards.

Report and follow up of assigned area maintenance and logistics issues.

Flexibility in changes to meet operational demands that include daily schedule, guest preferences as directed by admin on duty.

Follow the standard greeting set by the company as directed by the management.

Check reservations and prepare products and equipment accordingly.

Comply with set arrangements for the opening every morning and closing of the treatment rooms.

Maintain good product and services knowledge and assist guests with information.

Ensure that reserved treatment is suitable for the guest by following the standard procedure of consultation.

Knowledgeable of contraindications for specific treatment and wellness activity.

Ensure that guest comfort and privacy are protected during the Spa experience.

Provide guests with full information on the treatment and be able to recommend according to specific needs.

Always provide a guest with post-treatment advice and home care product recommendation.
