A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including but not limited to body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice and tour of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with hotel standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
·Performing the massages and beauty treatments in line with the brand standards and as described in the Spa menu.
·Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
·Cleaning and sanitizing the treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment before each use.
·Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
·Ensuring that the Spa is adequately stocked with Spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor/manager.
·Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
·Assist in all areas of the operations as requested by Spa Director.
·To be fully aware of the services offered in the Spa.
·To assist in achieving the financial goals of the department.
·Attending the trainings assigned by HR department or department manager.
·Accurately explain spa treatment menu and packages to the guests.
·Greeting and welcoming the Spa guests in accordance with brand standards.
·Supporting the Spa attendants to maintain a decent appearance of the changing rooms, lounge area and restrooms.
·Checking the guest amenity set ups (water, bathroom amenities etc) and refreshing it if need be.
·Familiarizing the guests with the facilities when the receptionists are busy with other guests.
What are we looking for?
In line with Hilton quality standards, you should possess the following attitude, skills, and values:
·A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa therapist in a five-star hotel, ideally in the Gulf countries.
·Adequate English level to communicate with guests effectively.
·Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
·Recognized diploma or certificate to perform massage services.
·Passionate about Retail sales.
·Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
·Experience in facial treatments is a plus.
