Senior Sushi Chef, Luxury Five-Star Hotel, Singapore

Salary up to $7500 SGD per month, plus annual bonus.

The restaurant is widely regarded as one of the finest Japanese restaurants in the Singapore Market.

Things you will be doing as the Senior Sushi Chef:

• Ensuring the finest quality of ingredients is used in the preparation of Sushi
• Responsible for preparing traditional Japanese Sushi rice
• Expertly prepare different types of fish
• Maintaining a clean work environment to prevent food contamination
• Undertaking inventory checks of food supplies
• Reporting any defective kitchen items to the HOD
• Working closely with other Chefs of all levels

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Have experience as a Senior Sushi Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
• You will need at least 5 to 7 years of experience in destination restaurants or Hotels
• You will need to have been trained in traditional sushi preparation and presentation
• Have excellent knowledge of all sections
• Have the ability to produce excellent high-quality Japanese food
• Have good oral communication
• Have team management skills
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Have a good level of numeracy
