Job precis:

This is a proactive, hands-on Sales Manager position to help build a base of corporate transient business for a new high-end, funky, lifestyle hotel opening in Munich city centre. Cross-selling other properties in the group globally. Reporting into the General Manager. This is a superb Sales Manager opportunity with a lot of autonomy and an exciting, sought-after trendy lifestyle brand to work with.

About the role

  • The Sales Manager will drive Corporate and MICE sales across all market segments from across the local markets, into the hotel.
  • Manage relationships with key clients and agents around London.
  • Regular face-to-face appointments per week to source new business.
  • Work closely with the GM and wider Europe sales team.
  • Hold site visits and client entertainment as required.
  • Produce sales activity reports as required.

What we are looking for

  • Hotel Sales Manager experience is essential.
  • Current experience within the Munich hotel market is also essential.
  • A proven track record of successful business development and account management is highly desirable.
  • A self-motivated, driven, commercially aware and results-orientated and proactive attitude is required.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Business level spoken and written German and English is essential.
  • EU passport or current valid working visa for Germany is required
