Sales Coordinator

Scope of role: The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing office and administrative support to the Business Development Director and the Sales Team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers while opening up fresh customers.
  • Providing sales and administrative support involving efficient handling of top and confidential agreements.
  • Supporting the sales team in attaining sales targets.
  • Communicating with regional sales team for status of order and position of sales.
  • Providing inputs and ideas into marketing enterprises and subsequently promote them and monitor responses.
  • Preparing proposals, agreements, sales reports, and presentations.
  • Updating the status of sales order in the database or computer.
  • Monitoring the trends and evaluating the performance assessed against monthly sales goals.
  • Maintaining an efficient work environment.
  • Promoting the facilities of the organization to fresh and existing customers through a proactive approach.
  • Coordinating and responding to all requests of internal meetings.
  • Assisting in the implementation of sales strategy as prepared by the Sales manager.
  • Attending network and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies.
  • To maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters relating to the Company and the Property plus all other sales and personnel related matters.
  • To provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Business Development Director and secondly to provide backup administration to the sales team. Preparation of correspondence, maintenance of appointments diary for Business Development Director.
  • Set up and maintain an effective filing system for the sales department, including a daily trace file, to ensure all weekly, monthly and bi-annual deadlines are met by the Business Development Director.
  • Once training provided, to take a proactive role in the maintenance and development of OPERA standards within the Sales Department. To be able to action any group and banqueting requests for space prior to communicating with the Events Team.
