To oversee the process of collecting and organizing analytical data related to resort’s revenue, sales, and other financial activities. To plan, approve, and supervise the deployment of systems and processes to manage and analyze financial data and other records.
Core Job Responsibilities & Duties
·Analyse hotel’s monthly performance and provide a report with recommendations to refine pricing strategies.
·Daily pick-up analysis, price strategy adjustments and reporting.
·Perform competitive benchmarking.
·Create and maintain an affective rolling demand calendar.
·Create and develop pricing strategies.
·Manage and oversee strategy for OTA and hotel’s direct distribution.
·Provide a weekly forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
·Responsible for assessing, analysing and pricing hotels sales strategies.
·Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.
·Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
·Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team.
·Regularly check the input and the quality of data points.
·Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates.
·Reduce the acquisition costs finding new less expensive means of delivering business.
·Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
Requirements
·2-3 years of hands-on hotel revenue management experience in five-star level
·A strong command of both written and spoken English is required.
·Additional languages will be an asset.
·Highly computer literate with a high-level command of excel.
·Knowledgeable of various hotel technologies: PMS, channel manager, extranets, etc.
·Enthusiastic and result orientated.
·Maldivian resort experience is an advantage.
