As Chinese Restaurant Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Lead the Shang Palace Food & Beverage Service operation and a team for Michelin recognition
  • Plan and implement Food & Beverage promotions and execute markeing plans to drive revenue
  • Train / coach and provide leadership to Shang Palace Food & Beverage team 
  • Maximise profitability of the outlet
  • Create an exceptional experience for our colleagues and guests

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for Food & Beverage
  • Preferably has relevant experience as Restaurant Manager in Chinese restaurant
  • Communicates and writes in English. Proficiency in Chinese language is preferable to liaise with Chinese speaking associates & guests in view of business communication
  • Is self-driven, goal-oriented, able to challenge the status quo
  • Upholds professional values, ethics, and integrity at all times
  • Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions
  • Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
  • Understands the global market and local environment
  • Has strong interpersonal skills
  • Is always aware of latest market trends and industry updates
  • Is friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
  • Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trend
