We are looking for Member Account Collections

Overview

Member Account Collections is responsible for performing accounting and administrative tasks to maintain and process accounts receivable transactions. It will lead to more General Accounting duties. Key internal interaction with the Membership, Events and Food and Beverage Departments. The role requires a very high level of interpersonal skills to interact with Club Members. Both verbal and written English must be of a high standard.


Job Responsibilities 

  • Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts.
  • Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
  • Resolves client-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
  • Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
  • Mail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
  • Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Complete and distribute official receipts and Member Statements.
  • Assist others in the Accounting team to finalize the monthly accounts,
  • Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
  • Stay updated on industry and legislative changes


Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 5* establishment for at least 2-3 years
  • High level of professionalism in both attitude and appearance
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
  • High attention to detail is essential
  • Strong administrative skills, timely project completion, record keeping, monthly reporting, time management and organizational skills
  • A team player attitude and ability to work within a cohesive team is required
  • Native English speaker is preferred
