As Reservations Manager you will drive the performance of the reservations team on property. You will ensure that all SOP's are being adhered to, responsible for training and coaching the team members and monitoring their performance. You will further be responsible for maintaining and improving reservations operations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in guest reservations, maximizing revenue opportunities and satisfaction of guests and team members.

Summary of Responsibilities:
·Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
·Oversee the daily Operations of the Reservations Department and ensuring all emails, phone calls and enquiries are attended to on a timely basis by the team.
·Cross checks and verifies all booking entries in the system and monitors email correspondences checked by Reservations Supervisor.
·Being up to date with all ongoing promotions and effectively manage and yield revenue at all times.
·Ensures that the Brand standards, service standards, and quality of work is maintained at all times.
·Assists with rate loading, auditing and managements of multiple Reservations system such as Opera, Synxis, Siteminder, OTA extranet.
·Be a hands-on leader effectively handling incoming reservations requests, follow-ups, reporting and rostering so all administrative requirements are completed.
·Role will manage both Hurawalhi Maldives and Kudadoo Maldives Private Island by Hurawalhi.
·A three year college degree or equivalent experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
·10 years minimum reservations experience in 5 Star Hotels and 3-5 years experience in similar position.
·Expert in Opera and Multiple Reservation systems, Channel Management and a strong revenue background is a must.
·Excellent comprehension and communication skills.
·Ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure.
