Resort Manager Kudadoo Maldives Private Island

We are looking for a Resort Manager to lead our resort operation. The selected candidate requires confidence, initiative, and the ability to make timely decisions. By driving creativity and employee engagement you will be an integral part of the growth and success of our team.

Kudadoo is a small, exclusive, private island surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, excellent house reef and long stretches of white sandy beach in Lhaviyani Atoll. Kudadoo’s renowned eco-consciousness and sleek design extend to the island’s 15 over-water residences where your uninterrupted enjoyment of the private island charm and the splendid natural surrounds are the norm.

Your Responsibilities:

• To develop and sustain operating budgets which are as accurate as possible and stay within these guidelines.
• To direct, administer, lead and motivate the activities of the entire operation of the resort and to ensure that long-term financial stability goals are achieved.
• To render service to society and provide the opportunity for the people engaged in the operation of the resort to develop to their fullest potential and obtain a sense of accomplishment.
• To act on the development of marketing, financial performance, personnel and service to all guests and employees of the entire resort.

Our Requirements:

• Master's degree in hospitality management or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Resort Manager or in a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 
• Remote island experience would be an advantage. 
• Experience in managing budgets and P&Ls; creating short, medium and long-term goals to meet the target.
• Impeccable written and spoken English communication skills and customer contact skills
• The ability to communicate confidently and share information efficiently, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Outgoing personality with exceptional negotiation skills. 
• Experience in maintaining workplace privacy.
• Presentations skills.
• Experience using computers for a range of tasks.
