Job Brief

The Bottling Plant Supervisor is responsible for assigning and supervising the control and distribution of bottled water as per the resort's specification, and supervises the activities of the Bottling Plant operators.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the daily required amount of bottled water as per standard is made available for use in the resort based on occupancy.
  • Ensure that the bottling plant is maintained in the desired standards of hygiene and sanitation, and that the bottles are filled as per specifications.
  • Ensure that bottled water is distributed to all areas required as needed.
  • Ensure that the same is accurately recorded.
  • Ensure that the collection of empties is diligently followed up from all areas of the resort.
  • Ensure that a weekly inventory is made and all units are accounted for.
  • Ensure that proper liaison is done with the manager to inform of additional requirement to maintain the circulating stock.
  • Responsible to plan the staff allocation of work.
  • Ensuring adequate stores and supplies are available for daily operation.
  • Be responsible for all keys in their possession.
  • Daily entry of stock circulation in the system and analysis.
  • Co -ordination with the HK supervisors and managers for daily and additional requirements.
  • Responsible to ensure the level of hygiene in the bottling plant and that adequate measures are taken to do so.
  • Daily check of all operating equipment and reporting of faulty machinery to engineering.
  • Ensure that any breakdown of equipment and services are immediately reported and dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that in the context of the operations, all standards of management for the environment and its related legislation are strictly observed.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, well maintained and in proper functional order.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Diploma in Hotel Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Bottle Plant operations with a 5 Star luxury brand
  • Be fully conversant with all health and safety and hygiene procedures
  • Island experience is a must
