Such an exciting new position for an experienced hotel Pastry Chef to join the management team with this award-winning international cruise liner company, travelling the world!
As Fleet Pastry Chef your role will entail land-based menu & recipe development which is rolled out through the fleet; ship visits implementing menus & brand standards – Including staff assessments, training & mentoring – While reporting to Culinary Director.
Requirements:
Associate Degree or bachelor's degree in Hotel management OR Culinary Art or a related field from an accredited university or equivalent
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an Executive Pastry Chef on a large cruise ship or multi-venue, high volume, luxury hotel or resort is mandatory
Advanced knowledge of Classical European & International Cuisine, including cooking philosophies & principles
Must have strong and effective leadership skills, with the ability to lead a culturally diverse and dynamic working environment
Rotation: Flexible 4 or 6 month contracts available
Salary packages:
Starting salary $9000 tax-free monthly
Plus flights + housing + meals + visa + uniform + laundry++
