Marketing Manager

Position Purpose

The Marketing Manager will promote awareness and maintain a positive brand image of the Skelmore Hospitality Partners on a local and international level through consistent and targeted public relations and marketing and digital campaigns.

He/She responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.

Overseeing the Marketing Team and the creative vision for SHP including dealing with relevant external companies (PR Agencies, Photographer, Videographer, other relevant fields)


Working Hours

·Working hours will be 5 days a week or an average of 50 hours per week (up to a maximum of 54 hours per week as per UAE labor law), exclusive of 1 hour meal/other breaks per day.

·The weekly days off permitted will be 2 days off per week; the maximum allowance should not be more than two consecutive off days/two non-consecutive off days in one workweek from Sunday to Saturday. Off-days shall be scheduled by management and recorded in the weekly roster.


Primary Responsibilities

·Develop marketing and PR initiatives to support sales strategies and activities for our brands

·Overseeing the process of new brand development and/or old brand renewal

·Manage social media independently or in conjunction with the PR companies.

·Manage Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and all targeted social media channels through social media monitoring platforms.

Planning and Budgeting

·Setting up overall business strategy-product development, communication strategy, budget, calendar, events calendar, digital media, social media and promotional activities with local media and media agencies

·Analyze all sales aspects of preparing the marketing plan in line with the brand vision and objectives

·Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives


Qualification and Skills

·Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, and public relations in UAE

·Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

·Relevant experience in the hospitality sector, service industry and luxury segments will be given preference.

·Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills,

·Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media.

·Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.

·Experience in planning events will be an asset but not mandatory.

·Computer literacy in related software.

·Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple outlets.
