The General Manager functions as the strategic business leader of the hotel. The position is responsible to develop and implement the operations strategy and to ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. It focuses on meeting the brand’s target customer needs, ensuring employee satisfaction, on growing revenues and on maximizing the hotel's financial performance.
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality desirable
-Sales & Marketing background
-Strong relationships with luxury DMCs and tour operators
-Business acumen
-Advanced strategic planning skills (long and short term)
-Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
-Advanced people management skills including involving staff in planning, decision making, facilitating, and process improvement
-Excellent organizational and leadership ability
-Fluency in French and English are essential for the role
