General Manager – Luxury Resort

Salary Package: $ + full expat benefits

• As General Manager you will ensure that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
• Monitor all operations, working through the respective Head of Department to adjust where necessary.
• Encourage employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation.
• Ensures that product quality and service standards are met in all areas of the hotel as pertains to physical appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Develop the skills and abilities of the team, through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
• Is proactive and can manage costs based on key performance indicators.
• Someone who is driven and focused on excellent service and guests’ satisfaction.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as General Manager in Luxury International Hotel chains.
• Proficiency in English - Excellent verbal, written and communication.
• Experience in Zanzibar/Middle East hotels preferred.
