SodexoMAGIC has an opening for aGeneral Manager, Aviation Lounge 2who willmanage and direct daily service operations forour premier private airline lounge clients' clubs at Boston Logan Airport. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent front-of-house guest services skills. As the General Manager, you will have responsibility for daily operations and union service staff (food/beverage/janitorial) in 3 clubs located in 2 airport terminals, with an additional new club under construction. This is a hands-on management role with a focus on ensuring food and high-end bar service exceed the high expectations of our valued guests.

If you have experience managing food and beverage outlets in a hotel, private club or otherupscale hospitality venue, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) and management staff; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs;
  • have the ability to work with, and improve/create/implement new systems.

  • demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Position Summary:

Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor 's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience -5 years
