Crawford & Carruthers Inc. is searching for a maintenance manager to oversee the technical maintenance team on a Luxury Island Resort off the Panama Coast.
The successful candidate must be a fluent Spanish speaker and must be able to work under pressure, and still operate effectively.
The maintenance manager must be self-motivated and willing to share information and teach others.
All maintenance on the property falls within this scope - electrical systems, plumbing, mechanics, LPG, Kitchen Equipment (Hot and Cold), Equipment for general use for Resort operations
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION:
l Minimum experience of 10 years in maintenance activity charges of commercial facilities, related to electrical systems, plumbing, mechanics, LPG, Kitchen Equipment (Hot and Cold), Equipment for general use for Resort operations.
l Level of University Study Bachelor's or Master's Degrees (Preferable Engineering Profession)
l Willingness to reside on an island.
l Be proactive and have leadership.
l Ability to teamwork
l Spanish Fluent - Basic level of English.
l Use of technological tools such as: Microsoft Office, etc.
l Must be in good health and good physical condition
l Driver's license type D minimum.
KEY OUTPUTS AND JOB FUNCTION:
l Management and supervision of personnel
l General maintenance applied in luxury resorts and luxury residences.
l Medium and low voltage systems, electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems and communication systems.
l Photovoltaic systems (Solar Panels, Inverters and Batteries)
l Advanced in ventilation systems, water heaters and air conditioners
l Wastewater System.
l LPG system
l Maintenance of industrial kitchen and laundry equipment.
l Skills in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finishing skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management.
l Show strong knowledge and skills in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials necessary to perform repair and maintenance tasks
l Pool maintenance (pumps).
l Local and foreign purchases and inventory control.
l Willingness to do field work.
l Show above average engineering operations skills
