What will I be doing?

  • Conducts routine property inspections as directed to determine maintenance requirements or upgrades and improvements to the property and its assets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all rules and regulations regarding safe working practices are complied with
  • Handles specific job requests as directed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Participates in preventative maintenance programs as directed
  • Assigns specific tasks and job requests to subordinate staff and supervises their day to day activity
  • Co-ordinates with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding specific in hotel maintenance activities
  • Assists in the maintenance of efficient administration preparing and submitting reports on time as directed
  • Checks and maintains the hotel water supply and electricity systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Ensures that the plant room, work shop and related areas, and tools and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy manner
  • Ordering of specific spare parts or equipment necessary to execute effective maintenance

We would love to hear from you if you have.....

  • Working experience in pre openings in hospitality
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years in working with basic electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Building systems and ability to work without supervision as required as well as knowledge of various painting and finishing work
  • Strong communication, collaboration and positive team motivation when working on projects
