Aspire Globally has been asked to identify a truly world class Chief Steward ( head of Operations, Food Service, Back of House), to take on the position of Maitre D’Hotel for this luxury 6* Mega Sailing Yacht who rotate on off with the hotel manager when you are on vacation to oversee daily operations and Food & Beverage service front and back of house and able to lead a team of operatives, managing staff who rotate on and off and maintaining the highest standards.
One of the most luxurious mega-yachts ever built designed to allow guests to enjoy the ultimate experience in luxury service. Circumnavigating the world and exotic locations.
Preferred background experience
Seeking a seasoned hotelier, to lead a world class team with “a no ego” but calming personality ideally from a modern background such as the One&Only, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Claridge’s, Four Seasons Six Senses or Anantara with more than 2 years working as Food & Beverage operation. Background in operations, Food & Beverage management.
Immaculately presented, this role is more about the way you are as a person, a way of being, a way of speaking, walking, deportment, etiquette and mannerisms. The client seeks professionals who know how to take care of themselves. Our clients expect incredible levels of sophistication in keeping with their own.
Personal Attributes and Skills
Born and educated in Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Male or female, full of energy and life, well presented and well spoken, with a full command of fluent English and other languages advantageous, gifted with a true passion for delivering luxury service
Able to work 3 months on and 1 month off (90 days off per year no time off on board)
Time off is dependent on the owners itinerary and can never promise.
2 returns complimentary flights are offered per year.
Sleep Arrangements normally shared cabins with excellent quality Meals. No prima donna’s.
None Smokers, no tattoos, fit, healthy, well presented. High grooming, high standards. Medical checks would be required before commencing.

To lead an international team and oversee no more than 24 Guests

Able to manage control procedures and scheduling will a degree of learning the logistics and a flexible mindset is necessary.
Exceptional understanding of health and Safety, Fire, Risk Assessment, Food Safety, Food Handling Procedures.
Someone who challenges day to day norms and questions why we do what we do.
To lead by example, to be inspiring and motivational, understanding when to praising, when to coach, when to guide and when to enhance day to day standards without micro management.
