What you will have an opportunity to do:

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby areas, public restrooms, and property offices.


  • $14 per hour, full-time positions qualify for benefits and paid time off

  • Part-Time: 15 - 30 hours per week depending on business levels

  • Full Time: 30 - 40 hours per week depending on business levels

  • Shift start times can vary from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM based on your availability

  • Days scheduled will vary and will include weekends


  • Ensure the cleanliness of all public areas including lounge areas, patios, and hallways by spot cleaning, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

  • Clean and maintain public restrooms, including but not limited to floors, toilets, sinks, stalls, urinals, etc.

  • Engage with guests during shift in a pleasant manner exemplifying Howdy Hospitality

  • Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shifts to collect trash and ensure cleanliness

  • Use hotels mobile devices for service and work orders via hotel application

  • Immediately respond to urgent requests such as spills

  • Complete occasional guest requests when necessary

  • Work as a respectful and productive team member with all departments and positions

What are we looking for?


  • Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred

  • Time management skills and the ability to work independently

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally

  • Ability to work on feet for 8 hours a day

  • Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.

  • Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 50lbs
