Continuing this legacy in providing guests with the highest levels of personalized, intuitive service and careful attention to detail, IHCL will be introducing its newest addition - Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm Dubai. Situated on the East Crescent of the Palm and connected to a private beach, the hotel will feature 258 rooms, 67 suites, six F&B venues, a kids’ club, sprawling banquet & meeting spaces and Taj’s signature Jiva Spa. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·Organize and conduct orientation for all new associates
·Conduct key skill certification for new associates post one month of on-boarding
·Collate and co-ordinate nominations for all external trainings
·Assist the L&D Manager in conducting workshops like Train the Trainer, Supervisory Skill Development and others
·Analyze the training need identification results
·Follow up with departmental trainers on monthly training calendars
·Collate the data on monthly basis for trainings conducted in all departments and report on planned v/s actualized training hours
·Conduct shop floor observations and audits to ensure there is a check on processes and service standards
·Responsible for all Interns including on-boarding, scheduling, appraisals and monitoring their progress within departments
·Co-ordinate Cross Exposure within Dubai hotels
·Responsible for actualization of mandatory trainings like Fire, First Aid, and any other training requirement through local government
·Effectively engage with departments on L&D related activities
·Hotel Management Graduate
·Minimum 2 years’ experience with a Luxury hotel in L&D
·Any L&D certification is an added advantage
·Fluency in written and spoken English
·Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)
