For our 5-star luxury resort Finolhu Baa Atoll We are currently seeking a talented, experienced Sous Chef (Thai/Asian Cuisine) to join our Culinary team.


Your tasks
  • Works with the executive pastry chef / executive chef in the Management of all kitchen operations including Stewarding with an emphasis on maintaining hygienic standards and practices, staff training, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of a consistent food product which meets customer’s expectations.

  • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
  • Assists with improving departmental revenue and profit goals and minimize wastages

Your profile

  • Minimum 03 years experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hotel.
  • Experienced in all aspects of HACCP of Food Safety standards.
  • Skilled in monitoring and controlling food costs by creative menu planning and keeping waste to a minimum.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English language.
  • Solid operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
