JOB ROLE

Internal Auditor is fundamentally concerned with providing the management with added assurance, independent from lime management, on risk management, internal control, and governance process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Through the periodic review of the operational activities of the business, the auditor has to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting service using a disciplined systematic approach to improve the effectiveness of risk management and integrity of Hotel operations.
• Assisting senior management in preparing action plans that adequately address the recommendation and findings arising from internal audits and ensuring effective implementation of the same.
• Prepare an internal audit plan that addresses all departments within Remal Hotel especially concerning on departments with significant risks.
• Monitor the Night Auditor’s log book, for anything to follow up and rectify.
• Check and verify the Night Auditors' work for the City Ledger and handed over to the receivable section.
• Control and serialize all booklets, paid-out vouchers, cash advance vouchers, miscellaneous vouchers, laundry vouchers, club entrance tickets, cinema tickets & recreation activity vouchers.
• Update cashier debit account and deduction and forward to Paymaster for a deduction on the payroll.
• Check the Trial Balance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce
• Knowledge of Accounting software
• Trained in Accounting, Analyzing, and Auditing.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a 4 * Hotel or similar background.
• Communication & Interpersonal skills
