About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for an Income Auditor to join Finance department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Should have good command in Night Audit process.
  • Verification of all rebates, paid outs, discounts, and miscellaneous charge vouchers. Maintain a daily control sheet forward it to the Income Audit Supervisor/Finance Manager/Director of Finance’s review.
  • Verify Comp/House Use/No Show/Cancellation/Housekeeping discrepancy/Rate Variance/Upgrade/zero rate/Late Checkout/Early check in etc.
  • Verification of interface data flow.
  • Verify and flash daily revenue reports to management and owners.
  • General Cashier Summary updating/Overage/Shortages & Cash JV.
  • Spot-check on registration cards/Vacant Rooms/Guest Lockers/Outlet Tour with Cash Count/Observation/Split Check and wherever revenue related.
  • Preparing/verifying and submitting of tips, commission, and incentive reports.
  • Reconciliation of all the Revenue/non-Revenue which is payable to Outsourced.
  • Prepare department administration calls summary and forward.
  • Needs to acquire and able to take responsibility relieve Income Audit colleagues for day off and vacation.
  • Posting month end journals.
  • Revenue and taxes reconciliation based on the percentage.
  • Making sure all the internal control points are in place.
  • Reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts.
  • Preparing Municipality fee recon and Tourism dirham fee recon and process for payment.
  • Should be able to undertake any other responsibility related to Income Audit given at any time, especially one-off report request from Management.
  • Must be led by example by demonstrating the Hallmarks and guiding principles in their role continuously.
  • Must be able to perform any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • College Diploma or Equivalent in Finance
  • Must have worked at least 2 years in a Supervisory role
  • Communication skills
  • Microsoft Package software proficiency
  • Knowledge of Opera, Symphony, Book 4-time, Oracle systems.
  • Critical Thinking skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Problem Solving skills
