Income Auditor

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To account for all Hotel Revenues, and to ensure effective controls and compliance with the credit policy are upheld in accordance with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry as well as Courtyard by Marriott and local policies. Key responsibilities are Income, Revenue and Credit. 

Competencies

• Bachelors in accountancy or Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism or any equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experiences in 4/5 star hotel properties and at least 2 years experiences in similar role.
• Preferably have had previous experience in Income Auditor role
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent data entry skills (numeric keyboard) using Sage ACCPAC
• Knowledge of OPERA PMS system, MICROS, Accounting system, Excel and Words strongly preferred 
• Self-motivation and organizational skills with the initiative and ability to complete projects in a timely manner and then proven ability to work well under pressure
• Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material
• Able to multitask and work under time constraints
• Quick at mathematical calculation
• Adaptable to change
