Human Resources Manager

HR Manager – Luxury Resort – Zanzibar

Salary Package: $

* Local National - Tanzanian

We are currently hiring a HR Manager to join the pre-opening team in Zanzibar.

  • You will be overseeing the Human Resources department activities, staff welfare, morale, discipline, and social activities
  • Negotiating with labour office and social insurance office, managing visas and work permits
  • Recruiting staff to an overall plan and selecting staff to given personnel specifications
  • Conducting orientation programs for new staff
  • Ensures all levels of staff undergo regular training courses and follow up the performance appraisal system
  • Implementing grievance and disciplinary measures
  • Supervises the security staff activities, managing the staff accommodation, canteen and menu
  • A Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in similar position
  • Must be from luxury hotels background
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English
