Human Resources Coordinator

We are looking for positive, energetic, innovative and pro-active HR Coordinator to join our 4 star hotel in Dubai who can perform the following duties and responsibilities;

  • Initiate and/or processes employment requisitions; develops and/or edits departmental job descriptions, vacancy announcements, and position advertisements in consultation with Human Resources Manager.
  • Develop and maintain confidential departmental staff and associated files, documents and/or databases, personnel file of each staff is updated
  • Coordinate staff recruitment process, as appropriate, ensuring search documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete, as per requirement liaising with the various approved agencies & coordinating visa processing with the Government Relations Department.
  • Coordinate departmental employee relations functions in consultation with the Human Resources Manager; monitors staff performance appraisal completions, tracks annual and sick leave accruals and usage and leaves of absence and overseas employee separation documents; may mediate or otherwise resolve workplace grievances or disputes.
  • Coordinate/arrange Staff Engagement, Staff Welfare Committee meeting, Monthly Team Gathering and Corporate Social Responsibilities.
  • Preliminary screening of candidates, checks references, and/or extend offers of employment upon approval by Human Resources Manager.
  • To prepare & complete the Monthly Human Resources Report and other statistical reports as required by the Human Resources Manager.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct departmental training; and conduct new hire Human Resources orientation.
  • Coordinates the staff employment process for the department and the hotel as appropriate.
  • Oversee the preparation travel L.P.O’s, purchase requisitions, small purchase orders, and check requests; expense reports and invoices.
  • Handle Medical Insurance registration, addition, deletion
  • Carries out any other duties or assignments or reasonable requirements, given by the Human Resources Manager as required.

*At least 1 to 2 years HR experience in UAE preferably in hospitality industry

*Good (English) communications skills

*Good presentation skills (PPT)

*Good in Critical Thinking/Decision Making
