Housekeeping Attendant

  • To support housekeeping function in the administrative and operational requirements of the department
  • Assist the department with handling the incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure all messages are properly dealt with.
  • Handle input and control of all external and internal requisitions for the department in the purchasing system to ensure appropriate stocks (stationeries, filing box, pens, envelopes, etc.) are available for set up.
  • Reports to FMS/Helpline recommendations for painting, repairs, etc. in order to achieve consistent quality of products in the hotel.
  • Periodically inventories supplies, forms and equipment to ensure enough provision is on hand.
  • Complete attendance record and submit to Human Resources Department for salary calculation (all of Housekeeping and Laundry Associates) to ensure earnings are paid correctly.
  • Communicate closely with uniform/linen section to ensure correct information is conveyed.
  • Make sure Lost & Found items are recorded and handled properly in order to have accurate information on hand.
  • Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.
