We are looking for an Housekeeper


The Housekeeper is to ensure that the Residence is maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and organization whilst ensuring family and their guests are provided with the highest level of service, efficiency and care.


Essential Experience & Abilities

  • Minimum of 5 years working in housekeeping on private luxury yachts or luxury hotels
  • Good command of English
  • Neat personal presentation
  • Positive attitude with good communication skills
  • High work standards including the ability to meet performance standards without supervision
  • Only Females to apply due to family requirements 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing all duties with the sense of priority and dedication, serving in a calm, discrete and courteous manner whilst respecting timing standards 
  • Ability to work unsupervised, in a large team and take direction
  • Ability to maintain a very positive and friendly attitude
  • Very high attention to detail at all times 
  • Respond appropriately to instructions and follow guidelines 
  • Good team player 
  • Assists when and where needed 
  • Turn up to work on time, in uniform and present well 
  • Respect the privacy of the client by adhering to strict confidentiality in all areas

Day to Day Operations: 

  • Follow instructions from your Team Leader and complete daily tasks 
  • Attend daily meeting 
  • Work safely with chemicals 
  • Know the right chemical to use on different surfaces
  • Know how to use all cleaning tools
  • Know how to setup and shutdown an area 
  • Use color coded rags and the right equipment
  • Cleaning Techniques – sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, brushing, polishing 
  • Prepare, maintain, protect and turndown a room 
  • Know how to care for different surfaces – metal, marble, glass, wood, plastic 
  • Assist with guest services – unpacking/packing luggage, cleaning shoes, replacing amenities and wardrobe management whenever is required 
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues 
  • Bed Making 
  • Cleaning of Bathrooms of Bedrooms 
  • Storage cleaning and arranging 
  • Periodical tasks such as deep cleaning, window cleaning, and chandelier cleaning 
  • Sanitation of Gym equipment and Jacuzzi 
  • Know how to handle linen, terry and other sensitive items or materials 
  • Set an example by complying with regulations regarding dress code and expected modes of behavior and use best endeavors to offer a personal and personable service, enhancing the reputation of the facility and leading by example 
  • To ensure that property is maintained properly and treated with respect at all times 
  • Report any incident, injuries, damages or failures of equipment to Team Leader 
  • Monitor stock and provide Team Leader with stock inventory report
