JOB ROLE

We are looking for a Food & Beverage, Hostess who ensures to provide the highest standards of hospitality & welcome guests to each & every guest consistently.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles table reservations courteously and efficiently.
  • Welcomes and escorts the guests to the desired/allocated table.
  • Acknowledges guests within the arrival. Ensures that accurate waiting time is communicated to the guest that are waiting to be seated (when applicable).
  • Ensures that the guest reservations are in order and takes initiative to fill up all available reservation slots by using the database of previous/regular/repeat/new guests.
  • Offers a tour of the buffet to first time guests and customers (where applicable).
  • Maintains database regarding guests of the restaurant for communication of upcoming promotions in all outlets.
  • Contact guests for table reservations, promotions of the restaurant, and special events.
  • Assists Outlet Manager in completing various administrative tasks for the outlet.
  • Maintains cleanliness and quality of menus, buffet tags, and other outlet collaterals where applicable.
  • Take all reasonable measures not to handle food or food contact surfaces in any way that is likely to compromise the safety and suitability of the food
  • On the guest’s departure from the restaurant enquire about the dining experience if time permits and bid farewell with appropriate words.
  • Uphold the guest relation, job performance, hotel promotion, and guest services standard set for the restaurant.
  • Manages bookings for brunches and special events/nights and allocates tables accordingly.
  • To conduct routine inspection of the area and ensure that all work area plants and equipment are safe to operate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Hospitality school graduate, with exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
  • Minimum two years of recent relevant experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or similar establishments
  • Extremely knowledgeable in guest engaging and upselling techniques
  • Great attention to detail, team player, and flexibility.
  • Arabic Speaking fluency would be an added advantage.
