Exec Head Chef, Luxury Five Star Hotel, Singapore

Package up to SGD 17,500 per month, (USD 13,356 per month)

We are looking for an Exec Head Chef to help run the kitchen operation for a luxury five-star hotel in Singapore.

Things you will be doing as the Exec Head Chef:

  • Reports to the Hotel Manager
  • Responsible for the running and overseeing all sections in the kitchen operation
  • Managing and mentoring the kitchen brigade
  • Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination
  • Undertaking regular inventory checks of food supplies
  • Managing all restaurant outlets
  • Ensuring Brand standards are maintained
  • Ensuring all food operations are current and on trend
  • Ensuring dishes are of a high standard before they reach the customer
  • Communicating with HODS to ensure all aspects of the Food service are met and surpassed.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience as an Exec Head Chef within a luxury five-star property
  • Have good oral communication skills
  • Have team management skills
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Have a good level of numeracy
  • Have a good knowledge of P&L
  • Have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge
  • Are adaptable to change and have the willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
