We are looking for an experienced Guest Services Manager to join our team at the Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, Maldives.
Kuredu Island Resort has 388 rooms, 7 Restaurants and 9 Bars, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach in Lhaviyani Atoll. We promote a culture of happiness for the well-being of our team members through their employee journey. We also provide our team members with accommodation, food, laundry services, team shop and other indoor & out activities such as team pool, gym, paddles, tennis, badminton, billiards etc., that make your job perform the most.
·To liaise directly with guests to ensure their well-being, comfort, satisfaction and that perfection of service is attained
·To support and supervise daily Island Host and Kids Club Operations.
·To use discretion and tact when dealing with guest inquiries, problems or complaints in an efficient and professional manner
·To implement and execute a policy to reply to all guest comments within an acceptable time period and prepare the response to guest claims received from whatever source.
·To cooperate, coordinate and communicate with other departments, as required.
·To monitor department’s overall service, team work, interaction with other departments and take corrective actions to improve
·To prepare check-in manifests as soon as seaplanes / domestic flights have departed from Male and to assign Island Hosts for check-ins in a fair approach, taking languages into consideration whenever possible.
·To handle guest complaints and update the profile history in Opera. To take action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties, as best and fast as possible. To work towards achieving complete guest satisfaction
. Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
. At least 2 years of experience as Guest Services Manager, preferably who is familiar with large operation
. Very good at written and spoken German and English
. Ability to deal with multitude of tasks
. Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
