MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.1.1 To be totally familiar with hotel products, rates, and promotions at all times and create measured
incentive plan for the staff based on business demand through upselling and right selling.
1.1.2 Be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of all competing hotel and restaurant products and
provide weekly regular updates about food and beverage after visiting competition hotels.
1.1.3 Participate in hotel activities including promotions, sales blitzes, entertainment and other
operational areas as directed.
1.1.4 Penetrate and saturate prospective and existing customer organizations for effective multi
department selling.
1.1.5 Service needs of customers by attending to all requests promptly within 24 hours.
1.1.6 Ensure that revenues and / or cost controls are maximized through proactive actions rather than
reactive management.
1.1.7 Handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
1.1.8 Maximize occupancy and average rate of hotel through creative and selective selling incentive plan.
1.1.9 Maximise average check under food and beverage department by creating efficient incentive plan
for the staff in order to increase the sale.
1.1.10 Budget, plan, and execute cost-effective and productive incentive plan by discussing with
management prior one month.
1.1.11 Constantly updating the inhouse guest offers while offering premium products to attract more
spending to gain extra revenue
1.1.12 Create special activities such as Master Class for mixers and cocktails,upsell special parties, formal
dinners, and other events to drive extra revenue
1.1.13 Drive extra revenue by training a team of staff members who work in various departments of the
hotel including Food and Beverage, Entertainment, FO and Housekeeping to have a set Goal on
revenue.
1.1.14 Make sure all incentive polices are approved by management prior to implementation.
1.1.15 Maintain accurate information on all new and on-going leads and accounts.
1.1.16 Plan and execute cost-effective and productive sales incentive plan across the resort.
1.1.17 Ensures that all incoming correspondence (inquiries, requests, offers, confirmations, etc.) are
attended to and staffs are well trained about the incentive policy.
1.1.18 Establishes a Monthly Report which includes the summary of the past activities, prospection and
trends, and analyses competitor’s sales and promotion efforts, forecast for all sales activities &
production/conversion figures. Attends once a month hotel’s Sales/Rooms Division and Credit
meeting.
1.1.19 Conducts market surveys to advise management of actual market trends regarding food and
beverage.
1.1.20 Special deals (out of guidelines and rate policy) must in any case be discussed, co-ordinated and
approved prior to offer with the hotel’s management.
1.1.21 Thoroughly familiarizes oneself with the Hotel’s emergency procedures and is in a state of
preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
1.1.22 He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant
Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
1.1.23 Other duties as assigned.
1.1.24 Perform duties in a manner that respects Rixos Hotels & Resorts values.
1.1.25 Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings.
1.1.26 Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested.
