General Property Manager

We are recruiting for a seasoned luxury Hotelier to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to the Clients. Be responsible for smooth operations of multiple facilities with highest standards of hospitality and to exceed Clients’ expectations accurately every time.

Executive Experience is also a must as you will be acting as a first point of contact with the Client, dealing with correspondence and phone calls. managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive. booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation

Management: Manage multiple facilities and provide support to all departments and HOD's in running their operations.  You will be responsible for all areas of the property, rooms, F&B, landscaping, FM etc. with a holistic view of the overall property

Event Management: Plan and organize formal and informal events meeting clients’ requirements and ensuring extraordinary level of guest services.

Resource Provision: Work with direct reports and evaluate resource requirements in terms of staffing, equipment, and supplies. Responsible for arrangement of all the resources needed to run assigned facilities including securing necessary approvals and mobilization. Follow through the 

Service Standards: Work with Operations Manager to establish and improve service standards and implement them in the operations. 

Skills Improvement: Liaise with Human Resources and schedule training of employees for skill improvement/reinforcement. Participate in skill gap identification initiatives by Human Resources 

Maintenance & Appearance: Ensure that assigned facilities are well maintained according to procedures and preventive maintenance schedules. Responsible for general upkeep and appearance of household in accordance with the instructions of the Clients.

Quality & Comfort: Quality of service is prime deliverable for all the services provided to clients and is a critical success factor for this role. The position holder must emphasize on Clients’ expectations with regard to quality and comfort and must set the higher benchmark to exceed them. Property Manager is responsible to carry out quality control functions in all areas of their departments/ facilities daily to ensure that a consistent high quality of all services is maintained.

Budget: Responsible to prepare and manage budget to operate the facilities. Should expect deviations and alter plans according to dynamics of the situations and clients’ requirements.

Safety: Responsible for safety of the employees and assets. Ensure that all necessary measures have been taken to make end-service and/ or produces are safe before final delivery to the Clients.

Performance Monitoring, Training & Succession Planning: Continuously monitor performance of staff and take necessary action to steer and improve work performance and behavior to maintain the desired standards. Mentor and train staff cross-functionally on an on-going basis. Ensure that employees are coached, trained and appraised regularly and provided with feedback for performance improvement and appreciation. Prepare departmental training and succession plans for directly and indirectly reporting positions and submit to Human Resources Manager and Director Operations.

Sub-Contracted Services: Responsible to ensure that contractors for all support services are active, their contracts are in place, and their crews/services are accessible and available as and when required. Administer sub-contracts and quality of their services. Conduct strict and frequent audits of their services and processes to ensure quality and speed of their services and deliver of products.

Management of Change: Must expect changes in the; plans, events, schedules, services, client’s expectations and protocol requirements, and quickly respond positively to accommodate clients’ requirements yet delivering the same quality of services. Demonstrate high degree of resilience.

Leadership: Lead the team by example all the time, fostering a spirit of cooperation between different departments, ensuring that all departments work hand in hand and create a challenging and fun environment for all staff to work in.

Coordination and Liaison: Work closely with peers, direct/ indirect reports, and management on initiatives and follow-ups on operational matters. Establish a two-way communication stream to keep matters well in control and manageable. Escalate where support is required from the management.
