Sodexo is looking for a General Manager/Chef Manager to run the food service operations at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, Vermont. This College has approximately 500 board students on meal plans. The General Manager will oversee Resident Dining and Catering for a total managed volume of approximately $1.5 million. Executive Chef experience will be helpful in this role.
The ideal General Manager candidate will possess:
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Key Duties

- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards

- Monitors operating standards
- Establishes a safe work environment

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience
