An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly talented and experienced Hospitality professional to join Kandima Maldives, the game changing lifestyle 5 Star Resort in the Maldives. The main purpose of this role is to develop and manage the commercial and operational strategy for the Resort to drive optimal performance, achieving financial and other business targets. The Resort has been developed based on a strong & unique concept & brand ideology which has been reflected in its design & operational philosophy. Therefore, it would be the responsibility of the General Manager to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional and unique guest experiences in line with The Resort’s concept & brand promise.

About You
•In order to be considered for this role, a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Manager at a large inventory, multi restaurant 5-star upsacale property in addition to at least 5 years Executive Management experience
•Candidates must have had working experience preferably in Maldives or in a remote Island location
•Should have proven all round operational Resort experience and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and strategic focus
•Should be able to influence, negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders
•It is essential that to have strong communication and influencing skills and be able to lead, develop and motivate colleagues at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
•Candidates with multiple language skills will be highly regarded
