A little taste of your day-to-day:
Bottom line? We’re looking for a new Paymaster cum General Cashier who comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of owners, auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability. In return, we’ll put our financial operations and the security of our hotel assets in your expert hands.
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
? Daily Cash Collection, Counting & Deposit of Front office & F&B Cashiers.
? Daily conversion of foreign currency into local currency from the exchange company and deposit.
? Process due backs on daily basis and liaise with Department Heads about cashiering problems.
? Daily cash count of General Cashier cash float and submit it to the Management for review.
? Issue and return house bank contracts as required and prepare house bank summary on monthly basis.
? Follow up for the IOUs issued to the other departments and ensure they are cleared as per policy.
? Issue Cash Salary on monthly basis as and when advised by the management.
? Processing the payroll of all the employees in the hotel on monthly basis.
? Preparing the payroll register (from payroll system) for the monthly payroll for approval of Director of Finance and General Manager.
? Any other task assigned by the management than above.
What We need from you:
? Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance
? 2 years’ experience in hotel accounting or auditing and payroll
? Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred
