Ensure that store goods are kept in a tidy manner in order to simplify the issuance and stock taking process and to rearrange the Stores as required by his/her superiors.
Ensure that Bin cards are properly maintained, and the items are delivered to the various sections within the Catering Department on a “first in, first out” basis based on requirements received.
The General Assistant (Stores) is InCharge of shipment clearing, shipment inspection, shipment verification, shelf maintenance, housekeeping, goods receipt, goods issues, goods de-boxing, goods loading, goods unloading, goods delivery, reporting irregularities, suggesting better process approaches, maintains the FEFO and FIFO, cool supply chain-temperature control, food Hygiene and safety regulations.
The jobholder must carry out the daily activities by adhering to the company’s Hygiene and safety rules and regulations. He has to ensure at all times that food items are stored in their proper and designated areas according to the company’s established hygiene requirements and that any required exposure of these items to unacceptable temperature and humidity levels is eliminated.
