Front Office Manager

We are currently looking for a Front Office Manager

As a Front office manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Prepare monthly reports and budget for front office department.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee.
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Maintains master key control.
  • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout their stay in the hotel, respond to guest needs and resolve any issues that may arise resulting in the highest possible guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high-performance standard among guest contact employees to ensure they are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous at all times.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to turn rooms around with a minimum of lost time and to allocate arriving guest appropriately.
  • Participate in decisions involving occupancy goals, marketing strategies and development of rates.
  • Supporting, training, and supervising front office staff
  • Ensuring that all guest-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve guests' experience.
  • Scheduling staff shifts and managing other HR-related tasks.
  • Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage

Requirement:

  • Proven work experience as Front Office Manager or similar role
  • Full working knowledge of Opera system is essential
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
