He/She leads, manages and organizes all aspects of the Food and Beverage outlets to the highest standards and in accordance to the standard operating procedures as emanated by the EAM Food & Beverage. Ensures proper sanitation is carried out for all restaurants, back area, kitchens including the staff kitchen. Ensures adequate stocks of food & beverage is available for a smooth operation. Carries full responsibility of all operating equipment and fixed assets including its inventory levels. He is directly accountable for the smooth operation of all restaurants and special events, and abides with the instructions and laws issued by the Maldivian authorities in connection to food handling, hygiene and food storage. Develops realistic action plans aimed to introduce and or improve service, procedures and working methods. Monitors systematically the performance of the department and intervenes immediately if deviations occur. Ensures to maintain the resort food & beverage cost at all times. Ensures and enforces the set service standard procedures by directing, supervising and motivating staff to perform to the highest level of service. Communicates with guest and shares feedback with Chefs and Management to ensure high levels of food and service quality and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times. Maintains an excellent reputation in the eyes of the public, owners, management, guests and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years in the same or similar position
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in hospitality and luxury setting
