F&B Social Media Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre

A Social Media Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre provides the voice for a company across social channels. This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing F&B strategies for the social media accounts of the property.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns in collaboration with the F&B team.
  • Perform research on current benchmark of F&B trends and audience preferences.
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report the performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
  • Generate engaging content by managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels by adapting suitable contents.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

A Social Media Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google and other social media best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing channels in general and in Food & Beverage segment in specific.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
  • Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Strong attention to detail and the production of high quality work.
  • Hands on experience in content management.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
  • Solid organizational and administration skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous experience in a luxury segment as F&B Social Media Manager.
  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing Management from a recognized education institution.
  • Additional Marketing / Social Media / qualifications are valued.
