F&B Director/Manager

Job Summary
As the head of the Food & Beverage Service, he/she shall be responsible to direct and guide the F&B operation in providing the highest level of hospitality to guests and ensuring a high standard of Food & Beverage Service

Candidate profile
• Degree from a recognized University in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role for an international 5* hotel or resort
• Leader of impeccable service standards and consistent quality.
• Champion of evolving & implementing F&B concepts
• Flexible, Innovative, resourceful, adaptable
• Previously similar location a definite benefit
• Dedicated team player, Pro-active can-do approach
• Excellent training & communication and guests' relations skills
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
• Proficient in all financial aspects linked to the operation
• Extensive experience & expertise in inventory control
• Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
• Food Hygiene champion

Job Description
• Ensure that all the Food & Beverage and all Service Standards are being adhered to. Ensure that the departmental SOPs are updated and in line with the service standards. 
• Oversee both operational and financial aspects of all operations within the F&B service to ensure that all services extended are in accordance with the standards while ensuring the department P&L is maximized. 
• Identify trends, determine improvements & implement change. Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel. 
• Supervise the F&B staff to ensure that daily operations in the F&B service run smoothly, the service is in accordance with all guest expectations and provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork. 
• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service. 
• Directs and manages all food and beverage activities to maximize revenue, profitability, and quality goals by developing and executing marketing strategies, up-selling strategies, controlling costs, and providing quality service and products to guests. Maintain visibility in order to ensure smooth running and promote good public relations.
