Banyan Cay Resort & Golf is a unique luxury resort that will mark the entry of the Destination Hotels brand into Florida and will be the first full-service Hyatt-branded property in Palm Beach County. Near West Palm Beach International Airport, this stunning brand-new resort will provide comprehensive boutique hotel services for hotel guests and tenants of the resort's residential properties.

In addition to the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, practice facilities, and clubhouse, Banyan Cay will feature the best spa in West Palm Beach, a signature restaurant with complete catering services, and event and meeting facilities for groups of up to 200 people.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary team . This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen!

Successful candidates for this role will have a strong desire to learn, develop skills and work with the culinary leadership team to create menus that reflect the seasonal availability and the concept of the restaurants.

Scheduling: The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. Punctuality and reliability are essential to respect and trust-building for our team members; these are the critical ingredients in creating memorable experiences for all the guests we serve. Additionally, we strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime, but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it.

Position Status and Scheduling Expectations: Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available:

  • Full-Time: 30-40 hours a week depending on the level of business forecasted for the resort while Part-Time should expect about 16 - 24 hours a week
  • Shifts will be either 7 am - 3:30 pm or 10 am - 6:30 pm

What are we looking for?

  • Active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it
  • Requires strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Have a desire to exceed expectations
  • An energetic personality
