The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day function. You will strive to be a passionate leader within our kitchen brigade, with strong communication and organizational abilities. You will assist the Executive Chef to create exciting menus and unique dining experiences ensuring consistency whilst managing food costs, general expenses and payroll in line with budget whilst not compromising on our philosophy to source the best produce. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will be a positive role-model for your team, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and guiding creativity.
Through personal interaction with our discerning guests, you will create unique dining experiences and attractive promotions. In addition to that you will also be responsible for the full operation of organic garden and stewarding as well as fostering a positive relationship with suppliers. As Co-head of department you will be responsible for developing a dedicated and passionate team through training and succession planning.
